A Fairy Christmas

A chilly breeze, the mistletoe sways.

A brush of wings…

Fairies may have passed your way.

A glitter dusting, a playful sigh.

A merry heart…

Christmas fairies might be nearby.

A blanket of snow, where daisies grew.

Take a close look…

A friendly fairy might be there with you.

A shiny bright star, in the night sky.

Shines on a pixie…

Seen out of the corner of one’s eye.

I love holiday fairies, it’s true I do.

Merry Christmas! Happy Holiday’s!

And I hope you love all my jolly fairies too.

I’ve had a candy-themed Christmas tree for the past few years.

So, I thought I would shake things up this year and have a

fairy Christmas. I made sock gnomes and fairies from dolls

to go along with my resin fairies. I repainted my garden troll

statues that had lost their paint from the weather.

I had them outside around a pond several years ago.

I made a cardboard paper and moss-covered tree collar

and brought in some tree pieces from the woods behind our house.

I made plastic wings out of clear file folders and painted and

glittered them. I bought a few new things but made most everything.

It took me several weeks to get it all done but I love the results and

all the fairies. I hope you enjoy the pictures and the poem.

Merry Christmas,

Vicki
